The dreaded 12 inches of snow that was promised by the weather folks came last night! It's so deep that the steps leading out from my apartment don't even have steps any longer. There's just a nice steep slope of fresh white stuff that I'm supposed to clime through to get out. Unfortunately I have to work today from 11 a.m to 7 p.m. I live about a blockish off the main road that gets plowed. The road to my house is partially paved with cement and then just gravel the rest of the way! My land lords NEVER plow it in the winter. Last year they had to tow me out 5 times. Anyway, I'm positive that my Geo won't make it to the plowed road this morning. I'll have to get a ride to work, and then as I have done everyday for the last week after work come home and shovel snow! Grrr....Why do I live in Logan? For now I'm going to pour my first cup of coffee for the morning and enjoy reading other peoples blogs in my warm apartment in complete denial that there is a winter wonderland just outside my door.
