A little taste of the South

I hate vending machines! I'm of the opinion that vending machines are just filled with over priced junk! Because of this belief I try not to purchase snacks out of the 2 vending machines at my work except in extreme emergencies or great moments of weakness. One of these moments occurred a few weeks ago. While I was in the work break room I noticed that the vending machine contained a new & different type of potato chip. A chip brand and flavor that I had never ever seen before. The new chip was Zapp's potato chips "Spicy Creole Tomato" flavor with "Tabasco." Gross huh? Yeah, that was my first thought too, but I went against my good judgment and decided to give them a try. I bought some & was even brave enough to bust the bag open. Let me tell you...I'm so glad I did cause they were the most fantastically flavored potato chips I have ever had. I'm not kidding! I liked them so much I bought another bag. While I was enjoying my new snack I was smart enough to write down the website on the back of the package. After work I came home and did some investigation of where this taste explosion came from. Not surprisingly Zapp's potato chips hale from Louisiana. Authentic Southern Cajun flavor! I was was even more pleased to learn that they have many tasty flavors that they will ship anywhere in the continental US. The best part is that Zapp's is quite reasonably priced. I bought 8 bags for $24 including shipping & handling. That's only $3 a bag for flavors like "Voodoo Gumbo," "Spicy Cajun Crawtators," & " Cajun Dill Gator-Tators." I love trying new things & I'm even more excited when I find something fabulous and worth telling everyone about. If you're feeling a bit southern order yourself some Zapp's chips. I reckon you'll be glad ya did! I give them the official Kins stamp of approval....DELISH!!

Find Zapp's at www.zapps.com or by clicking on the word "Zapp's" in this post.
