Not the smartest thing to do on his part. In this day and age were everyone is worried about bombs and terrorist. Of course someone is going to freek out. You can make bombs out of anything. Thanks to the terrorist we all have to be more careful. If I was on a plane I would rather them be too careful, than not careful enough. I feel bad for him.
